What happens when you submit this form?
A University Welfare Adviser will contact you within 3–5 working days to offer support. If you have also requested that the report is reviewed by the University, a member of the casework and/or HR team will also contact you. You can request at that point what, if anything, you would like the University to do next. You do not need to have made that decision now.
If you request the University to consider whether action should be taken, we will always take your report seriously and consider it carefully — however, not every report will get to that stage. A member of the casework and/or HR team will explain this to you if that is the case, and will make sure you are still supported regardless of the outcome.
If your report is taken forward for investigation, you may find it useful to read the student guidance on how the student disciplinary process works — but there is no need to read it now.
If you have questions before completing this form, contact us at welfareenquiries@yorksj.ac.uk or su.advice@yorksj.ac.uk.
